As Director of the Education Strategy in Ashoka Spain, Simón Menéndez builds bridges and connections between foundations, decision-makers, third sector organizations, companies and social entrepreneurs since 2012.
Previously, his work has been developed as a teacher in secondary education and in the third sector, founding the Association Hechos, an organization that works with young people at risk of social exclusion and young second generation immigrants thanks to programs based on the development of transformational leadership. It has launched different educational, social and social enterprise models. He is a Global Fellow 2010 of IYF and Special Prize of the jury “Young Entrepreneur Social 2009”. Teacher and Pedagogue.
